Beads Glass Craft Festival - Patricia Eichmann

Patricia began making jewellery about 10 years ago. Her interests have evolved from basic bead stringing to intricate, bead embroidery and bead stitched wearable art.

Although she still enjoys beading projects, working with precious metals and metal smithing has become an art form that she loves.

Patricia has studied with a number of prominent beading and metal smithing instructors in the United States.

She lives and teaches in the Chicago, Illinois area. Her work is on display in several of the areas boutiques.

	1. Beautiful Bicone Bracelet - $125.00 - plus $40.00 for class materials - Technique – spiral stitch - Skill - all levels 1 day - 20 students This stunning bracelet is perfect for evening wear. There are more than 250 Swarovski crystals used to create this bracelet using a flat spiral stitch. Students should bring a task lamp, magnifiers and scissors to cut stitching thread. All other materials will be supplied. There will be several colour choices.
	2. Cheeky Swirls Bracelet - $90.00 - plus $40.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille - Skill - all levels ½ day - 25 students Twisted and different sized jump rings are used to create this fun and easy to make bracelet. The bracelet feels “soft” on your wrist and has lots of movement. Students should bring a task lamp and their own flat nose and chain nose pliers. All other materials will be provided. There will be choices of all sterling silver or sterling silver and gold-filled bracelet kits.
	3. Cleo’s Caper Earrings - $90.00 - plus $15.00 for class materials Technique – brick stitch and fringe - skill - all levels ½ day - 20 students The colour play in these brick stitch with fringe earrings will have you looking for your own Marc Anthony! Students should bring a task lamp, magnifiers and scissors to cut stitching thread. All other materials will be supplied. There will be several colour choices.
	4. Fused ‘n’ Fabulous Bracelet - $280.00 - plus $45.00 for class supplies Technique – metal fusing - Skill - all levels 1 day - 20 students This is a fun class in which you will bring your silver to the melting point to develop a wonderful texture on the surface of the silver. You will use this process to fuse various shapes that will create interesting designs on your bracelet. Students with long hair are asked to have something to tie their hair back when they are using the torch. This is for your safety as well as everyone else in class. If students have their own metal files and chasing hammers, they should bring them to class. I will have all of the tools needed but you may have to share. All other materials will be provided.
	5. Day to Evening Bracelet - $100.00 - plus $40.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille - Skill - intermediate level - some prior chain maille experience would be helpful but this is very doable for the beginner ½ day - 20 students This is a substantial bracelet that lies comfortably on your wrist. This is one that you will reach for day after day and will easily go from day wear to evening wear. Students should bring a task lamp and their own flat nose and chain nose pliers. All other materials will be provided.
	6. Sunburst Pendant - $100.00 - plus $25.00 for class materials Technique – tubular and flat peyote stitch - Skill - all levels ½ day - 20 students You will learn to encase your focal stone using only seed beads with a tubular peyote stitch. Then embellish to create a sunburst effect. Students should bring a task lamp, magnifiers, and scissors to cut stitching thread. All other materials will be supplied. There will be several colour choices.
	7. Pearls Galore Bracelet - $100.00 - plus $25.00 for class materials Technique – right angle weave stitch - Skill - all levels 1 day – 20 students You will be delighted with the look and feel of this seed bead and pearl bracelet. You will be doing your right angle weave stitch in no time. Students should bring a task lamp, magnifiers and scissors to cut stitching thread. All other materials will be supplied. There will be several colour choices.
	8. Rolling Bling with a Twist Bracelet - $100.00 - plus $40.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille plus a simple beading technique - Skill - all levels 1 day – 25 students This easy to wear bracelet has movement and sparkle from the added Swarovski rhondelles. You will be sure to get plenty of compliments. Students should bring a task lamp, flush cutter, flat nose, chain nose, and round nose pliers. (I will have extra cutters but they may have to be shared.) All other materials will be provided.
	9. Romanov Rules with Crystal Bracelet and Earrings - $100.00 - plus $45.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille - Skill - all levels 1 day – 25 students Small sections of Byzantine chain maille are made to hold Swarovski crystal in a “flower” type fashion. This is a very beautiful bracelet and earrings in either silver or gold-filled. Students should bring a task lamp and their own flat nose and chain nose pliers. All other materials will be provided. There will be several colour choices.
	10. Captured Rivoli Bracelet - $125.00 - plus $50.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille - Skill - prior chain maille experience would be helpful but is not necessary 1 day – 25 students This is a dramatic bracelet that really makes a bold statement. Three rivoli’s are captured by rings in such a way that will have others wondering how you did it. Students should bring a task lamp and their own flat nose and chain nose pliers. All other materials will be provided. There will be several colour choices.
	11. Stretchy Rings Bracelet - $110.00 - plus $40.00 for class materials Technique – chain maille - Skill – prior chain maille experience would be helpful but is not necessary 1 day – 25 students You will learn to mix your metal jump rings with rubber rings in such a way that you will have a stretchy bracelet that doesn’t require a clasp. Students should bring a task lamp and their own flat nose and chain nose pliers. All other materials will be provided. There will be several colour choices.
